Exterior is Undone

The builder called me today and said they're going to redo the pillars so the brick doesn't overhang the porch so much. Notice that the brick has been stripped off of them? I don't know how they're going to eliminate the overhang without moving the entire pillars on the north side inward a bit, because the pillars, even without the brick, come all the way to the edge of the porch (photo below). So I guess they're moving the whole pillar. It's kind of a shame because they were looking so nice, but it will look better when it's done, I'm sure. I'm glad that it's getting fixed. The main floor got some drywall texture today. Also, we locked a great interest rate this morning and we are way excited about that!
